A few weeks ago I described myself to a friend as the “anti-sporty” chick in regards to my personal style. The only sneakers I’ve ever really owned are Keds and running shoes (for all the times I run – ahem NEVER). But then about two weeks later we were eating at grey dog and I saw the most amazingly styled girl whose look I was completely inspired by. Full disclosure – I was practically drooling. And the most ironic part about it was…she was IN SNEAKERS! Like an aha moment – it all came together for me and I realized that I could totally rock this and make it feel like me (feminine)! I scurried home, went onto the computer and am now the proud owner of these! I cannot wait to wear them and will definitely post my complete outfit once assembled. For now, some at home (trying on) shots along with a girl (not THE grey dog girl – it would be kind of stalker’ish to have taken a picture of her, no?) who is doing it just right.
